The history of Perego in the field of aluminium hardware and accessories for windows and doors began in the 1960s. During this period, the family business – which had been operating in the mechanical engineering sector since the 1930s – shifted its focus to manufacturing accessories for aluminium window systems.
These systems were just beginning to be developed and produced by the first specialised extrusion companies on the market.
The early years brought significant growth, until the 1980s highlighted the need for differentiation: offering products and systems specifically conceived and manufactured to meet customer needs. Consequently, we established an in-house Technical Department to capture client requirements and develop original, innovative solutions, delivering the most advanced and definitive answers. To better serve and respond to customer demands, Perego relocated in 2000 to Zibido San Giacomo, just outside Milan, establishing a production facility perfectly equipped to face new manufacturing challenges.

CAD and CAM for Flawless Prototypes

  • Plastic injection moulding, cutting-off, and secondary machining using automatic machines; CNC stamping and turning
  • A vibratory finishing (trowalising) department
